The International M.Sc. "Air Quality Control, Solid Waste and Waste Water Process Engineering" (WASTE) Presents:

November 24, 2017, 8:45 AM

The Second International Symposium on Environmental process engineering and technologies, is intended to provide an opportunity for professionals in the fields of environmental engineering to exchange their academic and technical knowledge. Protection of the environment is a topic that must be discussed and considered worldwide.

What if the same environmental technologies are shared among all nations?

How beneficial will it be for further developments in the green-oriented industry?

How have evolved the environmental technologies in the industry during the last years?

The first step to address such questions is offering the chance to hold discussions about environmental technologies, framed on an academic occasion. The symposium is aimed to find a coalition point for international speakers to share their experiences working and researching on environmental technologies in the fields of Solid Waste, and Waste Water Process Engineering along with Air Quality Control. As a closing appointment, a specialized forum featuring the International speakers will be conducted to share their perspectives on environmental technologies and the way that they are being applied in every invited country.

Students are also welcomed to contribute and foster the Symposium through the Call for research posters and projects, where they are invited to present their work in the frame of the event. The best three works from every category will be rewarded. Further details of the event registration and deadlines could be found in this informative brochure. Make sure to register as soon as possible, because we have a limited amount of 100 places for attendants.

The symposium is organized by the International Master of Science: Air Quality Control, Solid Waste, and Waste Water Process Engineering (WASTE) at the University of Stuttgart. All attendants will receive a certificate according to their participation mode.

We are looking forward to your participation in our Symposium!

Solid Waste Process Engineering – “The future of Solid Waste management”

Waste Water Process Engineering – “A reached plateau or an evolving field?”

CALL FOR PAPERS

If you are a student currently conducting a Project, Master/Bachelor Thesis or you have already finished a research in the field of environmental technology, we will be pleased to invite you to participate in our call for abstracts. This is a contest-oriented activity, therefore, rewards will be provided to the three best research works according to our evaluation panel (Consolidated by our International Speakers). Research in the following core topics could be presented during our symposium:

  • Air Quality Control

  • Solid Waste management and Process Engineering

  • Waste Water management and Process Engineering

This is an excellent opportunity for all young professionals and students to be recognized as speakers at international conferences, meeting the community involved in the field. As an incentive, the authors of all accepted abstracts will receive a certificate of participation in our Symposium under the modality “Speaker”. If you are selected to participate in our symposium with your abstract, you will be asked to present your topic in a 15 minutes’ conference with 5 additional minutes for answering questions from the audience and evaluators. Just in that case, you must also provide your presentation. The deadlines to submit the documents are shown below:

Deadline for submitting Abstracts: 24.10.2017

Deadline for submitting Presentations: 10.11.2017

The documents must be sent to the following Email address: info@waste.uni-stuttgart.de, the registration form must also be filled up. The templates for the abstracts and presentations could be found in the following links:
